Submit your books for the Indigenous Literacy Foundation’s Book Supply program now

The Indigenous Literacy Foundation (ILF) is calling on publishers big and small to submit their titles to be considered for ILF’s 2023 Book Supply packs. ILF’s Book Supply program provides new, culturally relevant books to remote Indigenous communities where access to books is scarce. To meet the growing interest and requests, the ILF aims to supply over 120,000 books to remote communities in 2023.

Book Supply packs are carefully chosen by a selection committee made up of book industry and First Nations representatives. Book Supply packs are designed and assembled for the following age groups: kids (0–3 years), kids (4–7 years), big kids (8–12 years) and community (13+ years).

In 2022, over 50% of books in the Book Supply packs feature Indigenous authors and illustrators, providing vital representation and recognition for First Nations stories and cultures.

The closing date for submissions is 27 July 2022.

For more information on the selection criteria and the submission process please contact programs@ilf.org.au or call ILF on 02 9280 0644 and ask for Brad.

Please feel free to share this email with people in your publishing networks. The more publishers we reach, the greater likelihood we will secure the best possible selection of titles for our 2023 Book Supply packs.
