Booktopia has an exciting opportunity in our merchandise team based at Rhodes for an assistant category manager.

As assistant category manager, you play a crucial role in the success of your category, whether that is fiction, kids & YA, non fiction, academic or lifestyle. You will have a genuine interest in books and publishing. You will be energetic, curious, willing to learn and able to juggle a huge list of tasks and initiatives to drive the Booktopia business further.

This is an ideal role for someone who has a good understanding of various book categories with strong relationship and teamwork skills. Familiarity with market research, data analysis and forecasting techniques will also be advantageous. This coupled with a strategic mindset and the ability to think beyond day-to-day tactical implementation will see you succeed in this role.
