Exisle Publishing is looking for a Sydney-based sales representative to sell our list of award-winning, locally authored books to our customers, including bookstores.

This sales role offers a fair degree of autonomy and would suit someone who likes variety in their days and to get out from behind the desk to build relationships with existing customers, as well as establish new ones. You should be happy selling books into speciality retail shops, helping a children’s bookstore develop its sales of our books, and be comfortable in the head office of a key account.

You will need to be well presented and articulate, have excellent written communication, and be organised. You also need a good grasp of Excel and be confident with numbers.

We are looking for an energetic self-starter with a positive outlook and a track record of showing initiative. Sales experience will be well regarded but is not a prerequisite. A background in education or mental health would be an asset.

You will be based from home and spend most of your days on the road visiting with customers. Some interstate travel is also required. You will need a reliable car and a valid driver’s licence.

The role has a start date in May 2024. The hours to be worked are flexible and may suit a carer needing to accommodate school hours.
