Faber Writing Academy manager, Sydney

Faber Writing Academy is the creative writing school within Allen & Unwin, Australia’s largest independent book publisher, and is affiliated with Faber & Faber in the UK. The Academy offers courses in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and online, and is seeking a part-time manager to program courses and oversee the overall running of the Academy.
The role oversees a small, dynamic team in our Sydney offices, and engages with contract tutors across the country remotely. The successful candidate will ideally possess the following skills and experience:
- Project management experience – the organisational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Confident communicator and networker
- Experience leading and managing teams
- Budget planning and forecasting
- Experience running courses or events management an advantage
- Understanding of business development, in relation to audience growth, is desirable.
