We Read Auckland announces full program

We Read Auckland | Ka Pānui Tātou i Tāmaki Makaurau has announced its full program, which will run 1–31 August.

The month-long reading and writing festival offers free events with a focus on local authors.

Among the events are reading parties, author talks, writing workshops for adults and teens, and hosted book chats.

Authors on the program include Rachel Paris, Donovan Te Ahunui Farnham, Olivia Spooner, and Jenny-May Clarkson.

Also on offer is the ‘Bestie Collection’, a curated list of new and bestselling books with no holds or renewals, encouraging participants to visit their local library to explore and borrow from a ‘Bestie’.
