Stella Day Out announces Melbourne program
Literary organisation Stella has announced the program for its Stella Day Out Melbourne event, set to take place on 18 August at the Queen Victoria Women’s Centre.
Three sessions have been announced: Claire G Coleman discussing speculative fiction with Sarah L’Estrange; Emily Maguire will delve into her writing journey in conversation with Jaclyn Crupi; and Maxine Beneba Clarke and Louisa Lim on storytelling as resistance with moderator Sophie Cunningham.
Stella Day Out is a free one-day literary festival that ‘celebrates and promotes the outstanding contributions of women and non-binary writers to Australian literature’.
The organisation has also recently run events in Warrnambool and Adelaide, while August events are also planned for Darwin, Sydney and Canberra. Programs are released individually.
More information about the upcoming Melbourne event is available on the Stella website.
