Dymocks Giving Day date, program announced

Dymocks has announced its 2025 Giving Day will take place on 21 August.

Free in-store events will occur in Dymocks stores around the country, including Matt Cosgrove leading a storytime in Sydney; Lili Wilkinson, Nat Amoore and Charmaine Ledden-Lewis signing books in Melbourne; Grantlee Kieza appearing in Brisbane; Jacqueline Harvey appearing in Neutral Bay in an event that also includes a sausage sizzle; and Juliet Marrillier signing books in Hay Street in Perth.

Giving Day supports Dymocks Children’s Charities, which ‘provides brand-new books and literacy programs to schools and communities where children are most at risk of falling behind’, said organisers. For 24 hours online and in store, Dymocks will match all donations as part of the event.
