Papercuts Comics Festival announces program

Papercuts Comics Festival has announced its 2025 program, running 12–14 September in Adelaide.

Artists appearing include Alice Lam, Chad Molyneux, Evie ‘YEEVZ’ Hilliar, Molly Hunt, Nicola Scott and Robin Tatlow-Lord.

The festival will open with ‘Talking Pictures’, an evening of visual storytelling where 11 guests will each read a newly commissioned comic on the theme of nature, accompanied by onscreen projections of their art.

Among other festival events are panels on multidisciplinary work, representations of Australia, nonfiction in comics, working with textiles and working with licensed characters, as well as a market day and creator-run workshops.

All events are free for the public.
