HarperCollinsPublishers is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated team player to join our HQ publishing department as a Commissioning Editor on a 12-month parental leave relief basis.

The main purpose of this role is to acquire, and project manage high quality fiction titles for the HQ trade list to fill specific publishing slots, project manage those books to publication, and advocate for author, supporting them through the publishing process and offering excellent author care.

To be effective in this role you will be highly motivated with strong editorial skills and an in-depth understanding of trade publishing.
