Publisher Susan Murray to retire from Sydney University Press

Publisher Susan Murray has made the decision to retire after 20 years of dedicated service to Sydney University Press.

Susan has guided SUP from its rebirth through to the strong position it enjoys today. Along the way, she has mentored staff and led the press through new and evolving challenges, including the rise of Open Access, accessibility imperatives, and generative AI.

Susan’s published acquisitions have been extremely well received, winning awards and bringing exceptional scholarly research to a wider audience.

We thank Susan for her vision and leadership and wish her all the very best for the next chapter.
