Children’s book division manager, Melbourne

Lead children’s book buying across all Readings shops. Drive strategic growth, manage new release purchasing with major publishers, support merchandising across locations, contribute to marketing and events, and represent Readings across the industry.

We need a charismatic champion of children’s books with buying experience (or publishing equivalent), comprehensive understanding of children’s bookselling, strong commercial sense, and exceptional relationship-building skills. Ideally Monday/Tuesday + one flexible day. Onsite role with travel to shops.

This is for someone with infectious passion for kids’ books who can be both an internal leader and external ambassador for the category.
