Hachette Australia has an exciting opportunity to join our Product and Production team division as a Production Controller. This role is responsible for the production of allocated titles, eBook and audio across the Hachette Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand local publishing lists. This is a fixed-term position, covering a 12-month parental leave which can be based in our Sydney head office or remotely depending on experience. Currently this role is available as a full-time 5-day per week position, however, we are open to a flexible working arrangement for the right person, so don’t hesitate to apply!
The role will suit a highly organised individual with excellent communication and prioritisation skills. We’re looking for a creative, innovative and enthusiastic individual who is commercially aware and has a genuine passion for the book and publishing industry. Candidates will need to demonstrate high proficiency in computer literacy and demonstrate skills in budget and project management, negotiation and strategic capability.
